Green Silicon Carbide

This product is made from silica and coke, under high temperature and electric shock for a long period of time, green crystallized silicon carbon formed. The hexagonal –type crystal has a minimum 99.5% of Sic content. It is just slightly inferior to diamond in terms of hardness, and it’s Since this product has extremely high hardness, toughness and stable chemical property, it has superior lapping and polishing capabilities, which will not be affected by chemicals, and can spontaneously generate sharp edges through fragmentation.

Features:

GC has already been widely used in many industries, especially as a lapping powder. It has functions like precision lapping and dicing of crystals, ferrite and oscillators, cutting of Si ingot, silicon wafers, and processing materials ranging from ultra hard metals and edged tools to soft metals such as brass and other copper alloys. GC is used in the processing of various resins and deoxidizing agent as well. Beside GC is also ideal in super finishing precision grind stones and best material for some refractory purposes. As it possesses the electrical properties of a semiconductor, GC good heat conductivity and ability to withstand higher temperatures, making it useful as a material in fine ceramic.

Package:

  • GC#240 ~ GC#2500: 20 Kg/Bag
  • GC#3000 ~ GC#6000: 20 Kg/Bag

The package is a three-layer paper bag. There is a moisture-proof protective cover inside the bag. Every package of the product is printed the Company name and product item, serial number, and lot number on the front side of the package to be distinguished.
