Steel Shots / Steel Grits
Steel Shots are used to blast the shot-peening, welding, or heat-treatment products. In addition to gain the luminous surface, they also increase the fatigue strength and the abrasion-tolerance of metal.
Characteristics:
The most common abrasive material used by shot blasting machines.
Finer sized shots can be used by dust blowing machines.
An ideal tool to clean-up the scales, burrs, rusts, paints, surface dusts…etc.
Applications:
Foundry / Steel Manufacture / Shipbuilding / Automotive Industry / Metal-processing Industry / Container / Aluminum-Zinc Die-Casting / Forging
Equipment / Surface Sand Blast Treatment / Rust Removing Process.
High strength / Quake-crack Resistance / slip-proof of the cement structure / Gravity Casting / springs, screws mixture.
Cutting and grinding processes on marbles.
Decarburization after Heat Treatment.
Pressure treatment on sports equipment / heavy duty tools.
Usage:
Shot-blasting on all large, medium, or small sized steel- and iron- casting works.
Shot-blasting on all large, medium, or small sized forging products.
Shot-blasting on steel pipes, and steel plates.
Shot-blasting on stainless pipes, and stainless plates.
Shot-blasting on non-ferrous alloy casting works or forging products.
Shot-blasting on the heat-treatment metal works to achieve cleanness.
